Registered clinical trials are the safest way to access experimental stem cell treatments: they are monitored, reviewed by ethics committees and usually free for participants. This hub shows how many stem cell studies are recruiting for each condition, with links to the details.

Recruiting stem cell trials by condition
How to join a stem cell clinical trial
- Search ClinicalTrials.gov for your condition and add “stem cell” or “mesenchymal” under Other terms.
- Filter by Recruiting and by your country or nearest city.
- Read the eligibility criteria (age, diagnosis, exclusions) carefully.
- Note the NCT number and contact the study team listed on the record.
- Ask about costs, placebo groups, travel support and follow-up visits — and talk to your own doctor.
Be careful: some private clinics register “studies” and then charge patients thousands of dollars to take part. Registration alone does not mean a study is safe or legitimate. Genuine trials rarely charge for the experimental treatment.
